i saw a diy section for the engine cover from simota1.... turned out great. -btw my car is pearl white. :happydance:

What you use to paint it with? You buy spray cans with our paint codes and it works close enough?

I haven't installed it yet...but I hope engine heat is not a problem.. and a little help guys, I have no idea how this rep point system works. How can I get or give rep points?

looks good, i have a custom painted engine cover too, it got ruined when i spilled some brake fluid doing my SS lines (not my fault). it's got clouds and lightning and chit lol

i'm sure you could just use a high heat paint and be fine, like a caliper paint, that stuff works everywhere

After having it for about 10k, the paint and finish is still in good condition
