New bumper without holes!

BEFORE:

After 4 months of fighting with Nissan North America and Nissan Northeast.

NEW BUMPER

Now the dealer has the Stillen tow hook for the license plates available with a sign "If you don't want holes on your bumper". I wonder why..

They had one mounted on the 40th Ann 370Z, with a price of $79.99.

80 bucks to mount a front plate!I hate the front plate law, it serves no purpose.States with redlight/speed camaras snap rear plate pics and police full you over from the rear also. So what's the point? New law with rear plate only= cheaper tag rates, less metal used(enviroment crap)and no holes in my Fuking bumper.

Truthfully i refuse to screw into my bumper and I've walked out of a few dealerships because the plate mounts were already attached. Complete deal breaker, she's been violated.

Happy I got to my dealer before the holes were there... Glad to see yours was fixed!

I've got the Stillen bracket as well, it beats the holes, but the front license plate still sucks... :)

I solved my problem by getting the Nismo bumper. Now I roll with no front plate AND a tow hook sticking out. I like it.

Papo, your car looks great.

Looks good Papo!

Can you do me a favor and check and see if they swapped the VIN sticker on to your new bumper? I'm thinking about getting a new bumper and I was concerned about this. I know someone else had their's swapped, but I'm curious.

Maybe it's just me, but I think I see bondo and paint where the holes were?

Did they just repair the bumper, or did they replace it?

NOPE, they didn't so I have to call the Service Supervisor tomorrow. It was freaking raining when I pick up the car from the dealer but I noticed like a bubble where the VIN tag goes, like they painted over some plastic or something. The freaking dealer is like 45 mins away.

Thanks for reminding me of that.

Just order the Stillen tow hook license bracket.

:shakes head: I can't believe dealers would put holes like that in our car. I mean, why can't they just follow the manual? Our front license plate holder don't even require making holes on the front bumper
