Rear window Louvers?

They were great in the 80's but window tint has done them in over time. My biggest complaint is they were noisy, especially with some base going in the radio.

But they where also screwed into the body. Not sure if I would want to drill into my car.

Probably the way these should have been designed is with a frame that is attached with 3M and the louvers as a separate piece removable from the frame (clips or hinges).

I'd be interested in these. Arizona sun is a nice thing to get a break from. I have a plastic louver on my Z31 that is 3m taped to the window and is hinged for window cleaning. Not being hinged would be a deal breaker because cleaning the glass would suck doing between the slats.

I also had one on my old 240Z back in the day.

I sent an e-mail expressing interest in purchasing a set about 2 months ago, received one back saying I was put on a list but haven't heard anything since.
