Another Rear Fog Light Install...
I purchased the light/harness @ 370zsource.com; and had Corner3Garage do the install. Both shops are local to me, so picked up the parts in person and headed over to Corner3Garage a few days later.
After talking with Corner 3's master tech Steve, we decided to do the install a bit differently than AK's DIY. The fog light is wired up to the main headlight switch, not another accessory power supply. A bit more of a factory look/feel/functionality than an independent switch. Thus, when the headlamps are turned on, the switches (seat heaters/fog) all light up. You still have to manually switch on/off the fog lamp though. The downside is you cannot turn on the rear fog independent of the headlamps...but I can't think of a scenario when I'd do that anyways. Thanks to the guys at 370zsource.com; and Mike, Nima and Steve @ Corner3Garage...very satisfied! Nicely done. I just had the rear fog installed yesterday on my PW, but simply used a pigtail harness to tap a fourth brake light.
