Adding Homelink to my car?
Well I was looking to pick up the base model of the 370z (no sports package) Almost everything the sports package gives me I would be replacing so why pay for it if its going to get all swapped out. One thing I was a bit upset about is that the base model doesn't give me the homelink. I mean this day and age you think that would be a standard. Oh well I found out that I can add it. (YAHOO!!!)
Nissan Auto-dim Rearview Mirror (w/ compass & Homelink) Plus the Installation Instructions are listed on there site also. Very cool and for $260 not bad I can live with that. I just wanted to pass this bit of info. on in case someone else wanted the homelink for there car. I just hate having the garage door open on the visor. |

Home link
When the Base 370 that I ordered comes in my dealer is going to swap the "Home Link" that is in my 03 350 for the standard one in the 370. That was part of the "Deal" or I would have another dealer order the car for me. He said no problem. Great guy...............

Yeah, good to know. I was wondering about this same thing the other day. Why doesn't the base model come with it installed? I guess things like this is what helps keep the price of the car down.

Did anyone here end up adding homelink to their base 370Z? If so, how hard was the install? Were the Courtesy instructions clear and easy to follow? Any info would be helpful.

I already got the mirror from the dealer I got my car from. they gave me 20% off $282 - 56 = $226. I was just trying to find out if it is an easy install or i should pay the dealer $100 to do it
