hey folks would 30-40 lbs make any difference in a 335 horsepower car?

30-40 lbs. is no big deal. I will be dynamatting the whole rear section of the car. Hatch, wheel wells, everything seats back. I think this will make a significant difference in road noise and give the car a better audible environment.

seems i hear a fair amount of wheel noise in the front wheel wells also. anyway good luck, all the best r |

I would also like to read about the results of your noise reduction efforts. I just purchased my Z and the only drawback is the cabin noise. An audio dealer I trust resommended installing Dynamat Xtreme in the door panels. Any comments about this idea...? What ios the best method to insulate the wheel wells?
