clear bra install after fresh paint?
 

how long should you wait for a clear bra install after getting some fresh paint? one shop I spoke to said 30 days, which seems like an awfully long time to me. if I wait 30 days it's going to have has many rock chips as it did before the repaint!

probably longer is better, but when I had my corvette repainted, and while they are currently repairing my Z, the body shop offered to have their guy do it right after they paint.

I had it done immediately after a repaint on my 350z, and when I pulled the film off to get this shop to correctly match the color (a friend in Orlando who worked at a body shop did the crappy work, but it was free), a little of the paint peeled.
