I'm not doing the wheels. I like my wheels and IF I was goign to get to wheels, they would be aftermarket. And yes, a Trade-in would have cost me about 8-10k more

Also, I need ideas on how I should badge it! Should I go silver hamburgers or the "Z" in the front middle and back middle? Should I do FairladyZ or 370Z?

Let me know what you think!!!!

I say SHAVE IT!!! Thats the route im going...no indentation, no emblems anywhere...except for the Z in the side markers. Here is my rear fascia waiting to ship out...

Good pics Thano. yeah those front and rear 'protectors' are a pain and should just be part of the bumper package. That rear center bracket still confuses me. The other guy that installed this bumper didnt use it and had no problems with fitment. Could you take more detailed pictures of the bracket attached to the chassis so we can see exactly where it is and how it attaches. Thanks!

Sure thing. I'll have pics of the bracket up tonight.

Unfortunately I can't really get any good pics of the bracket because the stock exhaust is in the way. I'll take more pics once I get my F.I. CBE installed :icon17:

Basically, the bracket attaches to the bottom center of the rear fascia and up to the center of the bumper support bar. Like I said early, it isn't a NECESSARY piece but I decided on it just to ensure the extra support.

Let me know if you have any questions!

I would of sold mine and just bought a NISMO too much expense and trouble, the S-tune spoiler is much better looking than the factory NISMO, I thought it should of been the factory choice, although I might of modified it ever so little to give it more effect

Would be worth while to do this to a roadster, plus you could have the nice kit along with navi and leather.

Snakes709 03-29-2010 10:51 PM

Well i was planning on getting the nismo kit paid off from godspeed (i put a 380 deposit) but it has to wait cuz i need to get my ZX6R ready for the track, which means i need a exhaust, ignition module and a dyno tune)

So here is the update:

Still waiting on the protectors. I read another post on another thread from someone who did this conversion and said that these protectors had to be shipped in from Japan. This would explain the lengthy turn-around time on these parts. Just wondering if anyone out there has any experience in getting parts shipped from Japan and could give me an estimate on the time frame that I should be expecting on these parts. Thanks!
