what an anoying piece this is!
Hey guys.
I washed clayed and waxed with meguires products the other day and today i took out the car and i noticed the black shiney part of the z that seperates the front window from the little back corner window was all swirled and marked up. That particular part on the z i can already tell is going to cause problems. it looks soo delicate. Is there a recommended product you might suggest that would work on getting that piece looking like new again? Thanks |

I use eagle one nanowax spray and an edgeless zaino towel on mine and I dont have any swirls. you have to be very careful because the material is more or less crap anyway.

its just off the shelf spray wax. it works good, but its life is short. itll be gone after a couple showers or just one hard rain. but until then, its a cheap and convenient way to help.

this is a better method, just make sure and use a GOOD towel, not some piece of ****.

Has anyone used Novus plastic polishes? We used the number 1 at work and I've used it on all sorts of stuff and it works well enough at cleaning and polishing. We don't have or use the number 2 and 3 polishes that supposedly remove scratches. I'm tempted to order a kit of all three to see how well it works on scratched plastics.

Oooh! i use that too, I usually wash the car, go over it with the eagle one detailer then spray er' down with the nano wax, hides the swirls pretty good if you ask me!
