Default Nav antenna

Does anyone know if the antenna on the roof is bolted on or is it stuck on with 3MM tape? Is there anyway to remove it so I can put on a perfect vinyl?

Thanks in advance.

More than likely bolted, if it was taped there then it would run the risk of leaking water into the cabin.

Is it possible to rewire this antenna to an aftermarket XM radio (splicing or dicing)?
