1) You have to have it with you and your car 2) You have to put it on during the hail storm, which many times, only happens after it's already pretty damn bad out...and hail that hurts your car, will hurt you too... 3) All that water, mentioned in #2, will get all over you, and your car, since most people won't carry their hail blankets with them 4) I'm sure the hail blanket will scratch... 5) I'm sure the hail blanket, once soaked, will weigh a LOT, which means you won't be able to remove it, without scratching and getting it dirty and other crap in it. 6) While it's soaked, you won't want to put it in your Z, else it will in turn get soaked on the inside, moreso than even when you opened the rear hatch to pull out said blanket |
