Default Replacing all bulbs in Tail lights with LEDs?

So I just got my tail lights smoked, and it turned out pretty dark. I was thinking it might be a good idea to replace all of the bulbs with some bright LEDs. Can anyone tell me how many bulbs per tail light would be needed, and if any of them are colored?

Shouldn't there be at least 3 bulbs per tail light? Blinker, Brake, and the "running" light?

Also, what about the third brake light, is that just a single clear bulb?

Why not? I'm going to be removing the trunk liner anyway in a few weeks to do my sound deadening.

I still want to know if the LED's from YourLEDShop.com are going to be brighter than the stock ones.

Search for a guy named "acree", he is an electronics/ LED genius. Not sure if he's on this board, but you can def find him on my350z.com

Those LED's you posted will not be very bright.. Try something like this.. pricey yes but probably one of the brightest LED's you are going to find.

ahh, that's smart. do your rear view camera and fog lamp too while you're at it.
