After Market Engine Covers
 

I was just curious if there is a place that sells after market colored engine covers. Or if there was a DIY on painting your engine covers?

You can paint them for sure. I painted the one on my G. I think I just got matte black paint for the engine to make sure it can deal with the heat. Didn't even sand. I'm planning on painting mine when I get my Z.

Painting is simple, clean it, light sanding, tape, paint. Add as many layers as you find you need. Results from mine:

I just wanted to add some uniqueness to mine. I prefer to buy some type of engine cover already colored with some emblems

If you find a place, let me know. I'm looking for the same thing.

I had mine painted mine PG too when I had my JP lip painted. I also had the battery and brake covers done too.

I did the Password JDM parts for that, I almost went with painting them and it definitely would have been cheaper. Any pictures of how they came out?

They turned out very nice. I'll take some pictures and post them tomorrow.
