GT Motoring is working on a cap for the lower area in CF, we will also be able to supply the JDM rear fog shortly as well. :) we'll keep you posted on ETA etc

cap, as in it will cover the existing suface, on top

here is an example of covers we have made for the s2000, both for a single exit conversion, or a cosmetic dual cover. They stick on with 3m tape.

Got you. And you are doing that for the rear? Pretty cool...

All you need is a cool carbon front lip!

I was thinking the same thing about the cap, seams like a pretty easy fix without having to cut the existing one out of the rear bumper.
Definitely want to get the JDM fog light hooked up. It looks like all the parts are in the box, from what I could tell, maybe it just needs the switch hooked up in the cabin and a red lens cover. ???

Here is a pic I took of the back of my fog light.

Plastic Surgery

I hate that rear fog light so i am going to take my Z into body shop and have some pastic surgery done on the rear lower valance. I did a photo edit in MS paint to see the difference. The rear looks so much better without the fog lamp. I think a carbon fiber insert would be tight, but I dont want to wait for one to come out or replace the whole bumper.

BTW, the photos are of another members car on here. I just used them for the sake of illustration.

I like the idea of a carbon fiber overlay, or even just a cheaper nice black(matte or gloss) plastic model. I was already thinking of this. Glad to here a shop is working on it already.

Tell me more about the JDM rear fog light. Are there wires in place already on the US models making it plug and play? And how would you turn the light on?

That black cap on the fog light area really bugs me. Even a small carbon fiber cap, with a nice "Z" logo, just to cover that square would be nice.

Well, it does look pretty clean without the fog light. I'm on the fence as far as keeping it. The other side of me wants to get it working, so when it's on at night, from a distance it will be undeniably a 370z. People will know what there chasing down, since they wont be able to pass it.

I wonder if Bat's rear valence overlay may help minimize this??
