Default Door Handles Question

For those who have painted their handles how is the paint holding up? I had a body guy tell me that paint won't stick real well to these handles and I really wanted to paint them black.

Also I was gonna paint the center caps black and he said the same thing..

mine was painted for more than have a year... i even wiped out and brushed up against some trees and the paint on the handles didnt come off.... the handles are plastic.... there is no reason why it wouldnt hold up.... just as long as the painter uses adhesion promtor basically plastic primer... itll hold up just fine

Do you have to take the wheel off to pop out the center cap?

If he had no method for painting on the plastic parts of a car, then you probably don't want him painting your car.
