Default Monterey Blue w/ Persimmon interior Copycat!

I guess it was only a matter of time until an auto manufacturer decided to steal the awesome color combination and apply it to their new vehicle design to release to the masses.

Behold the new electric vehicle that will surely sweep the nation with its impressive 20 km per day on solar energy alone. Oh, did I mention that if you find yourself running from a Romulan Battle Cruisers the vehicle splits into two sections to help evade and confuse your attacker? WELL IT CAN!

I'm a big fan of purpose-built vechicles. If I want to move cargo/trash I have a pickup truck. If I want to move people, I'll get a van (mini or regular). If I want to take long interstate trips, I'll drive a touring sedan. If I want to carve canyons I'll drive a sports car.

This, while being a bit weird looking would make a great work/commuter car. I'd drive one providing it cost what I'd expect to pay for a commuter car (read less than $15k new) and was cheap to run.

Problem is all these space age electric cars cost way to much for what they're planning on replacing. For the price of these you can buy a new Honda Fit and an awfull lot of gas to run it for years if not the entire life of the car.

thats a really nice color combo. Too bad the car is hideous. I don't understand why all these eco cars are so ugly. All these cars look like retro-futuristic vehicles you'd see on the Jetsons. They should have a prerequisite at the eco design firms that at least ONE person drive a Porsche.

Actually, better than a porsche. I think they should just hire some ricers. "Hey ricers... we designed this really slow practical car... can you please make it look like it goes fast?"
