It's true. I don't know about the rear but you can see the fender liners used with the front bumper in this diagram. The white lines I drew are pointing at them. Some kind of gap fillers may well be needed for the rear too.
I don't think Nissan calls them "fender liners" though. They were simply labeled "protectors" on the diagram my local dealer showed me. Any dealer parts rep can print out a diagram that's easier to read than this one I posted, but this pic is all I've got right now. I left the diagrams my dealer gave me with the body shop when I had my bumper put on. |

I just wish the NISMO rear had space for the rear fog.

I did make a deposit for the kit with godspeed but i might get my money back. Something tells me that something is fishy with that. I talked to ken and asked him a few questions and im not convinced that its 100% legit. And as someone stated in the other thread. Even if it is legit...by the time you pay the price for that kit and then add the price of the other parts you need, might as well just get the kit else where. Also pm sent to Z1

Personally I am not a big fan of the center brake light on the regular 370Z. I much prefer the look of the Nismo bumper, especially in the lower area around the exhaust outlets.

I like the fog light, especially at night. Its such an attention grabber. I think the fact that F1 cars have similar lights is what is doing it for me. Does anyone have a picture of the Godspeed one?

Picture of the godspeed bumper is on page 15 of the Nismo Panels thread. For me personally, not only does the fog light grab peoples attention but also my brake lights are tinted and i like driving with the fog light on at night time to allow people to see me better.

I am actually shocked that the NISMO did not come with the Fog Light. I assumed that the JDM and Euro markets would require this, but after digging around. I have found that they do not. From looking at the Nissan Euro site, they dont even get the NISMO period.
I have dug a little more into the whole fender liner issue, and I still cannot find a different part number. I have spoken to both Nissan Motorsports and Nissan North America and both confirmed once again. Those of you who have gotten the NISMO bumper and bought the different liners. Post or PM me the part number. |
