Accessory Keyfob

Just saw this on the nissan accessory site. Is the the fob that comes on the 2010 model or just an accessory. Regardless it's $100 :wtf2:

2010 and up. it sure is a sexy keyfob though.

what do 2009s and under come with? do 2009s and under also have that key fob slot to the left of the steering wheel where you can stick the key fob in to start the car in case the batteries are dead?

I have one of these with the 2010 model. I wish it was rechargeable like the G37...:shakes head:

It's NOT rechargeable at all. I just changed the battery for it on my G37....
People think that if you insert the fob, it will charge the battery... That's totally wrong. The insert is only there if the battery is totally dead and you need to start the car. The car will recognize the fob and then you can start it.

The 09 has the exact same system and fob except the Z is a Nissan hamburger instead.

ummm, what year is your G cuz my friends G37S (08) definitely is rechargeable....

Yeah I went to the dealership today just to ask about this key fob and the guy told me that he has never seen a key fob with a "Z" on it...but after seeing that it comes with all Z's from 2010+ Im starting to believe that he was full of shít :shakes head:

This oneis fitty bucks and you could use your current key and just change out the innards.

Yeah I've found a few of them online off of a few sites but I was just checking with the dealership to compare prices. But then I was basically told this didn't exist even when I showed him a picture of one from Z1 Motorsports he said that he has never seen one before...but yeah thanks for the tip on just switching the little circuit boards inside the fob :tup:

my 09 G37X did not recharge the fob either, the fobs all plastic, no contact points to charge. Mine was loaded with every option possible.


Get one off ebay, someone already posted the link. Its much cooler! :tup:
