do they bounce against the grill if you hit a bump or anything ?

No, you can tighten the loop to where it doesn't move at all. I have mine just tight enough to where you have to use a bit of force to pull it up so it sticks out straight.

yah like mike said it doesnt hit the bumper or anything... its actually two pieces... one that screws into you crush bar and the other screws on to that piece.... i added a lil loc tit jus in case someone was feeling like they want a brand new FREE tow hook... LOL
