Default Having S-Tune installed this week

I'm bringing my car in to my local Nissan dealer to have my side skirts replaced with the S-Tune sides. Are there any precautions I should tell the service guys to take before dropping my car off? I'm really paranoid and wouldn't want them to mess anything up. Thanks

I'm actually having mine done on Wedensday res. From what I understand, it's a relatively easy install, as they just swap the old ones off and the new ones on.

Nice, shoot me some pics if you can. I would do it myself, but it seems like it would be a hassle, I think you have to take the wheels off. Does anyone know?

Just the side skirts?

If they do the front lip make sure they don't eff with the "NISMO" badge. Looks terrible no matter where it's placed.

Should be rather easy to install. Since its an oem part there shouldnt be any fitment issues either! Good choice with the nismo.

I believe z1 has instructions on their website. Do a search for nismo, ak made a post about this. You don't need to take the wheels off but it's probaly easier if the car is on Jack stands.

Thanks for the follow up guys. Ideally I'd like to do it myself, but I have a couple of concerns:

1) I have front splash guards will I have to remove them before removing my stock side skirts, or can I just remove everything in one piece?

2) The temp here right now is in the 30's/40's, would it be safe to install it outside? I think the instructions reccommend installing it at temps above 60.

Thanks

I haven't installed them yet, but from what I understand they aren't much lower than stock, if at all.

Yeah, not a problem.

Does anyone know if the existing skirts can be taken off with the splash guards in one piece or do they have to be taken off seperately?

I checked on my car and it looks like they might be able to come off in one piece, it's hard to tell though.

Thanks Blink, yeah it seems like you should be able to take them off in one piece, but I'm not sure either. If that was the case, I might just do it by myself.

this isnt a job I would pay the dealer to do. Should be pretty straight forward and simple with basic hand tools. No wheel removal needed.
