Those look real nice...

So I had good luck with some interior pieces and the B pillar covers, but the vinyl on the front fang/lip has bubbled up after its first hot day outside. Any tips? I'm kind of feeling like just leaving it (looks horrible now around a few radii) and picking up a real CF cover, but I don't like the added thickness of those.

thanks.

the DiNocs can breath air so i would push down on the bubbles and heat it again with a heatgun until it doesnt bubble up. dont heat it too much cause it will change color.

if it's near the edge i would recommend cleaning your hand with some rubbing alcohol and peel it back, take the air out, and apply it back onto the fang.

Bought some to put on my door handles - seemed easier than getting them painted black (to match Magenetic Black exterior). If it doesn't work out, I'll just get them painted anyway.

Volume area on my steering wheel is already black?

Tried doing the keyfob as a test and I think it is harder than most others

First time wasn't bad, need to redo it as made the back a little short on one half and the key piece was a little small.

Any suggestions on how to handle where it bunches up on the back after curving around both sides? I may try getting it to bunch up where the notches are and cutting it there.

Thanks! Its holding up nicely.

Wilson you might want to use heat and pull just enough and spread just enough not to wrinkle. Its a little tricky when the object you're wrapping has contour.

Thanks, kenchan.

The contour works well, the problem is the back (sharper) end - after wrapping a flat piece around the sides, there is excess material that bunches at the back. I tried cutting a V out, but that didn't really work perfectly.

i tried the fob... i can wrap it (2pieces, top/bottom) but requires considerable stretching and the CF cells didnt look too good. also it wont fit in the fob slot in the car so not sure if you want to do this or not.

The fob is impossible the wrap cleanly, plus it does not look good at all.

i think if you used 3 pieces (top, side, bottom) and match the cells perfectly it could look pretty good.

but it might get stuck in the fob slot inside the car so i decided not to do it. i do not want to compromise functionality just for looks.

I have given up on di-noc. Well, I might order some more CF to wrap part of my PC... but that's it!

hahahaha, yah, it does take some patience to use this material effectively. it's not for everything that's for sure (like engine covers~ )
