Badges, grille covers, mirror covers, etc. To wrap your hood or fenders in CF vinyl or real CF would be kind of trashy... I'm beginning to really dislike CF panels anyway except on black of dark grey cars. It's really, really played out at this point. Just too clashy for my tastes.
If your going to carbon fiber something like a hood or any body piece for that matter then its been to do it right and buy the piece made outta real carbon fiber. I don't think carbon fiber is played out, its just everyone forgot that too much carbon can be a bad thing & if you add too much it can ruin the clean look of the car. If I were to get a vented carbon hood, I'd paint it either all white or just leave the vents showing the carbon while the rest was white.

These CF wraps is nothing different than painting...if tasetully done it's not rice imho. the film is wrapped like it was painted.

For example, the engine cover has silver paint as decoration. Serves no purpose other than for aesthetics. Same as door sills, cluster trim, etc etc. The real CF fangs, diffusers, same thing. Just done over do it...this is why I've been peeling some of my work that I spent a good time and $ on like the Z's roof and rear valance on my G. Just wasn't my style.

The trick is don't over do it. . I know its tempting. Hahaha!

When I got my wrap I literally walked around the whole car trying to see what I could do. I was going to do the wood trim, navi housing, grill shell, trunk spoiler, shift knob, and roof. All I wound up doing.... the wood trim.

Sorry, I already returned it.

Which trim did you want to see? I vaguely remember, I might be able to give you an idea what it looked like.

Yah, it looked pretty cheezy. The holes were not full circles on the outer two dials and the pieces were all thick like almost 2mm. The CF itself looked like steel wool strands and the weaves were small..

If you're as picky as I am you would not want it.

You took the bezel off the car right? Should be pretty easy to wrap with a heatgun(?).

Actually it was still a pain, it doesn't like to conform to the shape of the dials. When you wrap it up the dials air gets trapped under the vinyl and just won't go away. I hate this wrap, lol
