No peel, just cut to size and heat it up, wrap it between where you can with your squeegee. If it doesn't go between the trims, just take a small sharp scissors and trim the wrapping portion off and just attach. The adhesive lasts many applications as long as it is clean.

I haven't seen the carid one yet (I'm suppose to be getting mine this week which I will end up not using) so I can't speak for its quality and cutting accuracy yet, but if you're pretty good with a knife and scissors there's no need to buy the kit imho!

The benefits with the the 3M sheets is it's thinner, holds shape better (from previous exp with real CF overlays they don't hold shape that well as it's thick), and very cost effective. Plus it looks very nice.

Rednismo-I need to getz me more CF pens.

The pen I use has Black, Red, 0.5mm lead, and Stylus all built into the same unit. I just turn the pen so that the pen type I want to select is at 12 o'clock and press the button.

Very handy for these trim work.

When I got it I looked for anything and everything that I could possible do but decided to keep it simple with only the wood trim in my IS350. Im going to give my honest opinion and you can take it for what its worth to you. I like a lot of what you did, but I think a couple of the things have been over done. At first sight, with everything all together, I would think you just got bored and looked for anything you could to wrap with the overlay. I think all of the things that you wrapped can be pulled off as a very classy job but all of it together is just a little too much for me.

Again this is just my opinion, Im not trying to hurt feelings here nor am I trying to be disrespectful.
You should CF your toilet seat and lid with the left overs.
