Bike hit my car and cracked my side skirt!!!!

My car was parked on the street and some guy on a bike managed to slam into the side of my car and crack the side skirt on the passengers side! Luckily that's the only damage that was done, but the skirt is definitely not repairable. I'm actually thinking about just picking up the S-tune side skirts and putting them on because I've always liked them. How do you guys think this would look without the rest of the kit?

.........and the bike?

It was a regular bike that hit my car, not a motorcycle. The rider was fine and actually offered to pay for all of the damages surprisingly.

It would probably look odd without the front lip.

Surprisingly? Sounds like it was his fault, to me...

Oh, it absolutely was. The surprising part is that I didn't know it happened, I was in the house and my car was parked outside when it went down. He actually knocked on my door and told me what had happened which was nice. I guess there are still some honest people out there.

Personally? I'd give 'em something back. Case of beer or something lol. Not many people would do something like that anymore, its sad.

resdm50 02-04-2010 11:46 AM

Yeah, I almost feel bad for the guy. But by the same token, he did smash into my car, lol. The crazy part is that a replacement skirt painted is going to run about $700 while I can get a set of the S-tunes painted for about $600. Seems like a no brainer to me?

tjlazer 02-04-2010 12:34 PM

Do it and also get the S-Tune front lip.
