Manual vs Auto Gauge Cluster and Body Harness
Hi yall,
I am doing a project right now which involves making the rev match work with the car. I have a 2016 Sport Tech and want to have all the features like stock. I am aware that this is the most expensive way to manual swap your car but I just wanted to take on a challenge. I have bought a 2016 Nismo motor/trans harness and just wondering if all Nismo harnesses are the same from 2016+ because I have a 2017 Nismo with the rest of the harness. The question I have is if the gauge cluster are any different because I want the bottom to display the gear I am in and the S mode button followed with all the features of the car that came stock. Another question I have, Will the body harness work with the manual computers and etc because its is auto. If so, would I need to buy those too? I am to the point of replacing the whole entire car's harness from the front to rear. I have a lot of helping hands on this project to speed up the process but just need these questions answered so I can order the parts. Feel free to dm on Instagram @vqcolin because I will probably check this once a day. I will be filming this whole process for all you autos that want rev match to work provided if this works. |
This just a guess, but the difference would be that the auto would say break when starting the car vs clutch and P instead of B for gear.
