I Need a New Front Bumper
I can't decide. My Stillen has seen too much abuse. I'm split between the following:
Ings NSpec II (ver nismo) - less drag integrated brake ducts Amuse 20th Anniversary - rare AF, takes design queues from the 17+ GTR A brand new Stillen Bumper - draggy, but it looks aggressive. The Stillen is super heavy being polyurethane, so I'm curious if either FRP options are lighter. For skirts, I'd be ok with matching the Ings kit with its own skirt, and the Amuse with the OEM Nismo skirt. However, If wanted to get fenders, I would only get the Varis Arising II fender with the matching Arising II skirts. My rear bumper is OEM-cut, so I will just keep it and get filled, sanded, and repainted. I have a diffuser that only works on OEM standard bumpers i'd like to keep. |
The amuse anniversary seems like a massive waste of money if you’re going to track it. It’s not just a JDM import, it’s a limited JDM import, good luck replacing it if damaged
I’d pick the ings+1. Not too many people run it, and it appears functional varis arising II needs the varis bumper to match, or else a custom piece to flow with another bumper brand |
I would be nuts enough to track it, but I'm leaning towards the Ings kit. All of the damage on my car has come from public roads, which is pretty crazy. Zero damage from the track and I've been off a few times. I swear I saw there was a part number specifically for the Varis Fender that will fit an "OEM" bumper last night. Oh well. I guess I just figured it out.

What about the Fujimura?

I would've said Nismo OEM just because it's probably easiest to get your hands on and the fit is nothing to really think about.
But those ready ducts on the Ings look like it makes the most sense functionally. |
The front of the INGS also has some kennards and a large built in lip
Looks good imo Sadly the INGs sides and rear look like ***. Just random sharp edges that dont flow with the body Check out @tonyz34 on instagram |

It's like a Nismo, but you'd have to do a double-take to realize it's not one. |
Ings front with nismo v1 sides and rear

Dibs on your V1 Nismo. I am happy to switch out all my non-nismo bumper/fender liners/undertray bits to fit your new Ings. ;) |
I dig this setup for the front

Thats hot. I wish someone made a replica bumper. |
replies to OptionZero with the word "replica"
Bold move cotton :rofl2: |
Theres no reason to support a knockoff of Ings+1, they have done nothing wrong. Pandemic makin JDM parts harder to get in a timely matter aint their fault
I’ve bought seibon copies of my Garage-Seigu hood for my S14 back in the day. Why? Bc a tree fell on it and broke the real thing, then garage-s went out of business so the copy was the only replacement I bought some Fly1 sideskirts for the Z which are extended versions of the Carbon signal. If they’re changing or improving the design, and the original sucks…sure. Hel, even my CS front lip doesnt fit properly, i shoulda bought the fly1 copy of that too just to see if it fit better |
I know price is relative to everyone's budget, but Ings is fairly priced for authentic JDM Aero Kits. I think it's well worth the wait to have it fit perfect, or near perfect.
I just remember my experience with fly 1 absolutely ridiculous. |
