Good lug nuts
I recently bought some muteki sr48 and they stripped my wheel stud…. I was wondering what are some long lug nuts that are actually good quality. I’m running extended wheel studs and SSR Professor ms3s. I’d prefer if they were sub $150.

Keep in mind that engaged thread length needs to be at least the diameter of the stud, not counting the stripped portion.

Look in the Wheels and tires section.

The lugnuts didn't strip your studs, you did. Either you had not enough engagement from thick wheels or spacers or you over torqued the lug nuts. as already stated you should have at least as much thread engagement as the diameter of the stud (12mm). If your clinging on by 3 threads a different lug nut isn't going to help, you'll need longer studs.

Okay thank you for the input, I think my thread engagement is good so I might’ve overtorqued them by hand. Next time I will use a torque wrench but I didn’t think it was necessary at the time because I was adjusting my coil overs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Always use a torque wrench when tightening lug nuts/bolts.

Even on a tractor.
