What to do about hood
The paint on my hood is getting worse every month, it seems. The images below are from today after a fresh wash. Replacing it is going to cost me 1k either way I go, so I'm considering getting a black carbon hood for that two tone look, or getting an unpainted oem hood, but having to worry about paint match...
A third option is a full wrap though thats more expensive and I do love my color. Any thoughts or input would be appreciated. https://photos.google.com/album/AF1Q...4eqzBEmYqOs1xf https://photos.google.com/album/AF1Q...kc_B9OqMNnMJZU https://photos.google.com/album/AF1Q...jCbZiZ7COuHqtS |
images don't work (probably private album, also use [IMG] tags) Why not paint it your hood rather then get an unpainted OEM one? does it just need to be sanded and recleared?

Why not just wrap your hood black? That would be inexpensive

So then it's between 500 for a wrap job or 1k for a carbon hood. |
Wrap our hood is very easy to diy. You could do it yourself for a lot less.

Another option, which is a few bucks more, snag an original Varis or Fujimura cf hood.

Paint it black using plastidip, and then decide whether you like a two-tone or not.
