If you pay to have the trans pulled bite the bullet, toss the Z1 kit in the trash and order a CMAK. The Z1 kit the problem. It is an overly complicated kit that is extremely easy to fvck up the installation.

Even when you install it properly, various components will fail long before they should. It took me a weekend to install the Z1 kit in my garage. First test drive went fine Sunday night. And 10K miles later Z1 had to send me a new slave cylinder - that happened 2 more times in 50K miles but they only covered it the first time. |
