For those that are interested the Haltec dash is a plug and play with the Nissan 370z ECU. It is pretty bad ***. Remember it is not a data logger. Some of the displays on mine include water temp, oil pressure (you have to purchase the sensor separately) and AFRs with left and right displayed separately. I will be spending some time sett up the alarms for things that make the engine go boom!

IIRC he is using the AIM dash alongside the factory dash, which was relocated to another spot in the car (out of sight).

Jumping on this thread. I'm currently working on installing my IC7 as a "replacement." The wiring diagram for the gauge cluster shows no specific items for the turn signals or high beams. Still, I remember working with a Torque Pro dev a long time ago, getting the OBD2 to flash the lights and the indicators. An update on the IC7 display showed that the dash has the ability to see the indicators and lights, but it's grayed out for me.

The big oof in the setup is getting the alternator to work. I asked Austin about his setup, and he has the standard cluster mounted under the dash. This would make sense as many of the TC spec cars I've seen are still running the standard dash (tuned with either uprev or ecutek), while many custom builds are using standalone (like the Z1 T/A car).

I imagine this will take a bit to get it working fully, but the upside is that the Haltech dash is a fairly new product. So that has an upside when talking about future updates.

How did you get your AFR display to work? I had a hard time figuring out which wideband to look for lmao.

I got the answer, and he did what I thought—Haltech WB dual-channel (super nice).

I have ports in my HFCs to add on sensors, but I'll see if Haltech can use the PIDs I sent them to enable it in the OBD2 protocol. I managed to wire up the Oil Pressure sensor that came with the VLS gauge, and I made a rough CAD drawing of a mounting bracket my buddy would print for me. He wants to try this new carbon fiber filament he has, and it sounds like a good application for it.
