Default Polishing Question

Just waxed the new Z is two sessions using Meguires NXT Paste Wax. Beautiful result. Quick on and quick off with some excellent aerobic exercise in the process. I am very pleased with the product and its performance. Now I turn to the black panels behind the front window on each side of the car and the metallic door handles. What, if anything, should be applied to those areas? One of the black panels seems to have some tiny hairline scratches on it.

Assuming the black panels (B-pillars?) and handles are made of the same material as the 350Z's, using your NXT Paste Wax should work just fine. Personally, I prefer to use a spray detailer and leave it at that. Works pretty well.

I used the NXT was on my B pillars and it worked fine, the small swirls that where on my B-Pillars buffed right out also.

AK370Z's Monterey Blue 370Z

I used a metallic polish from Autozone/Pepboys. It doesn't last though but at least it's a little more protection than nothing!

Thank you all for those straight answers. I will proceed accordingly. CAN'T wait for that first "driveable" springlike, dry day. The only thing more enjoyable than having a sparkling, brand new, red Z sitting in the garage is having a sparkling, brand new, red Z out and about. Will Spring ever arrive?!
