Foam Absorber Not Fitting with Nismo 15+ Front Bumper Conversion

Hello all!

I hope everyone is doing well out there! I just installed my Nismo 2015+ front bumper on my 2011 370Z! However, I had to remove the polystyrene foam absorber in order to make it fit properly.

Has anyone else run into this issue or found a workaround to this? Any help and support would be much appreciated!

I would prefer to have the foam absorber in there so that the crumple zones can work as intended for front-end collisions. I'm also a tad bit concerned that it'll expose my cold air intake to water during wet seasons.

Cheers!
H

How far was it from fitting? I didn't notice any problem with keeping it in, but wondering if you are more perceptive to deflection than I am.

I am hoping the OP figured it out, since there was no further reply.
