Coolerworx shifter and syncrorevs

Hey guys I’ve been looking at the coolerworx shifter for while and im really tempted to buy it but I have a question about it and couldn’t find any answers on it on the forum (maybe I’m just bad at searching) I’ve heard installing a short shifter in the Z can mess up the syncrorev match, so i was just wondering if anybody has had any problems with their syncrorevs or after installing the Coolerworx shifter? Sorry if this was a stupid question hahah

Mine has worked as intended so far. No hiccups.

I have a TWM short shifter. Rev Match works perfect.

Had my Coolerworx installed for almost 2 years now. No issues to report.

Thank you guys! I’m going to pull the trigger on it

I'm conflicted about mine (and JAR no you ain't getting it). I really like how I can keep a second hand on the wheel bc it's so high, and, I feel like the shifting is less intuitive. Had a B&M short shifter before the Coolerworx.

I think that is because you haven't driven super car. I think it is more intuitive. I didn't have search for the right gear on quick up or down shifts. I can't wait to use mine at the track again.

The only issue I have with mine is sometimes downshifting from fifth to fourth I have tried to go into second instead. The only reason I have that problem is that I'm not in fifth very often and I don't have the feel for the fifth to fourth downshift. Nothing to do with the shifter, it's all me. :rofl2:

LOL, it is the same for me. The only track that I ever used 5th gear on is Auto Club and I am so scared of the dreaded money shift. In the heat of the moment with TWM short shifter I would find 4th instead of second on a down shift. Talk about a lap killer.

I've done the money shift once. 4th to 1st  Spun 7 of 8 rod bearings and 4 of 5 main bearings. Stretched all the rod and main bearing bolts too. 455 big block Pontiac's don't like high rpms. :rofl2:
