Hood Pins for Carbon Fiber
 

Hello!

I recently purchased a VIS AMS hood for my Nismo, but was wondering how truly necessary hood pins are. I see most Z’s without them, but then again most Z’s don’t track. I regularly hit 120-145 mph, so having some stability is important.

I have a set of Aerocatch hood pins sitting around from a friend’s car that he never used, so I can use them if needed. Thoughts?

Any pics of your cars with hood pins would be appreciated, as would any additional info anyone could share.

Oh you’re so helpful. It’s not like it’s just the same results of dudes going “Nah I don’t need hood pins on the street” when I’m searching for high speed stability.

But go off.

Take it easy. If you would have said that you tried to google and didn't find what you was looking for. Then started to ask your question. You might have your answer quicker with more replies. But now, you kind of dug a hole. You might not get any help now. Cooltoy is a big help around here.
