Hood Pins for Carbon Fiber

I recently purchased a VIS AMS hood for my Nismo, but was wondering how truly necessary hood pins are. I see most Z’s without them, but then again most Z’s don’t track. I regularly hit 120-145 mph, so having some stability is important.

I have a set of Aerocatch hood pins sitting around from a friend’s car that he never used, so I can use them if needed. Thoughts?

Any pics of your cars with hood pins would be appreciated, as would any additional info anyone could share.

They are safety devices, you don't "need" them till you do, and then it's too late. They are like seat belts, you don't need them till it's too late. And stop with the regular driving at 145 nonsense.
