I ordered the mats in the link above. They do the trick and $60 isn't bad. While they aren't designed to hold massive amounts of water, they do trap snow melting off shoes and the general 'gunk' of winter that would otherwise get stuck in the carpet.

My only complaint is that they have a strong rubber smell, but it's diminishing with time. Given that winter is nearly over, I had to make a move and gave up on Weathertech.

Even with the mats, ur passenger just didn't give a crap huh? How on earth do you get mud on the side plastic piece next to the door. I'd be so mad at my passenger.
