I just bought one from this website, $93 for the genuine Nissan fob. It comes unprogrammed, so I'll do a couple of upates. One after I receive it to verify it has a "Z" on it and the second after I have it programmed. BTW, the FCC code matches the ones I currently have. I'm replacing one fob because the 'panic' button was worn off and I tried replacing just that one with one of the 'el cheapo' ones off of eBay. Needless to say, the 'panic' button doesn't work now....:ugh2: |
Parts available on Amazon - Murano Shell
Hey, I did a fob refresh a while back and used the Murano shell parts to replace the 3 button pads. Here's the parts that I ordered. I used the Z cover to keep the original look. Less expensive than the whole Z Shell and just as useful.
Here's the parts I ordered: Link to the updated shell parts on Amazon.com https://www.amazon.com/qualitykeyles...NsaWNrPXRydWU= Note: the parts shells sales listings change from year to year. I have used the 3 button shells amazon sells without issues. I search for the most current listings there and go with what they have. Here's my original write-up: http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...d-refresh.html |

BTW, great write-up on your DIY. I've done several fobs over the years, this is the first one that's given me grief. :ugh2: |
