Street Aero Diffuser Thoughts
About to pull the trigger on this diffuser. I think it looks so mean in every picture I see it in, I'm just a little apprehensive that it might be too much....
Anyone have one or know someone who does? How does it look in person? |
Lots of folks with this diffuser on the FB groups.

Honestly, I think they look like garbage and are about as useful as such. They don't flow with the Z, or the bumper of the Z, and are pretty much the same parts used on each chassis available in a copy/paste method to be sold to as many people as possible with the least amount of work done by the manufacturer (very smart sales strategy, I must admit).
If you really want a functional diffuser, try and find a Verus Engineering one (which are discontinued as far as I'm aware). However, if you just like the look of it then go for it, your money and your car. |

I would never install one on my Z personally. I have always liked the carbon fiber EVO R rear diffuser I installed excellent fitment and finish.

plus, on a stock car, it's gonna look ridiculous
i dont like the way it looks at all, but IF you were gonna get one, you better be rocking a swan-neck spoiler, widebody, full paint/vinyl, airbag stance, etc in other words . . . save your money |

ive actually seen this car in person in downtown la, whole foods. its way too aggressive imo. and its just metal, theres no actual design that goes into it. imo the carbon signal looks way cooler

They should just rename it street plow.
