Go for it! I'd be curious to see how successful it is.

So quick update, it turns out that the lift piece that I was going to use from the Lexus LFA piece number 76085-77010 is actually 19 thousand dollars USD so I知 going to probably have to make my own lift.

So unless your talking about something else, the only parts I could find are the ones that tilt the spoiler. What I知 trying to do is have the spoiler pop in and out of the trunk area

The Jaguar F-Type R coupe has something that’s similar to this. Maybe that mechanism is cheaper than the LFA one. Also look into some Porsche 911s as well.

The previous generation (986) Porsche Boxster had an electric retractable/raising rear spoiler, and the mechanism seems pretty straightforward. May be worth looking into... Just my $ 0.02

moving the spoiler up and down is a trivial issue - there must be a dozen ways of doing it.
the challenge here is going to be packaging it, which becomes a body panel problem. |

I had something done at the stealership (under warrantee) and they left off half of the clips. the sales manager went to another car, took them off and replaced them on my car. that was the last time I went back to that stealership or any other for that matter.

Not sure how that's relevant to this thread, but that's probably for the best...but back to the actual topic.
