In-cabin microfilter install on 09's?

I'm not sure anyone has actually tried this yet after reading through the other 2010 changes threads, but can someone confirm that the microfilter is a plug and play install

Default In-cabin microfilter install on 09's?

I'm not sure anyone has actually tried this yet after reading through the other 2010 changes threads, but can someone confirm that the microfilter is a plug and play install for 2009 models? From what i'm reading, the 2009 has an area for the filter to go, just not the filter. Once my car is out of storage in March, i'd like to do this if possible. Someone be the test dummy!

If this is true, I'd be fairly interested in this.

I'll look at my car tomorrow evening and see if I can't check it out.

Id rather have some other upgrades than the filter. That would have been the last thing on my list to upgrade if I was Nissan. Oil cooler or noise dampening or something like that would be on top.

This was one of those features that could/should have been in the 09 but they left out so they can say something changed. One reason the 09 owners are looking into seeing if this can be done, we have the slot for it but does it fit/work?

It's all relative man, I live in a desert. I'd love a filter.

Well when I pulled the plastic off under the bonnet to run my wire through the firewall for my amp, I noticed an empty white container, which looked , to me, to be running into the inside vents etc, so if it is plug and play and someone has heard that it will just slot it, this may be the place?

Unless it's something else altogether.... lol

If is like in most of the cars it should be behind the glove box compartment.

Yes there is a place behind the glove box you have to take out and should fit opened it and looks like there should be one there guess Nissan was trying to shave some weight off the Z

Your right. Look for the 2011 Z next year. The filter will come in designers color.
