It's really one of those things that appear to just exist to sucker in people who want to throw money at something. "Hmm, what else can I do to the car with the stock bumper? Oh I know, that thing".

I mean no offense, but they seemingly made no effort to make it flow into the body lines seamlessly in a more integrated fashion. I could've understood it more as a continuation/extension to have the nose finish at an actual point, but it ended up looking like just a tack-on.

This is the epitome of RICE/RICING/RICER: Add-on but serves no purposes whatsoever; essentially a non-functional deadweight.
