The veilside kit is hideous, imo. No flow, just random stuff happening. The older Veilside stuff from the late 90s and early 00's was crazy but at least had . . . a direction. Slapping overfenders on the rear of the Z and leaving the front stock width is also LOL, the rears can already fit anything.

Anyways, no pricing or availability yet. I am not a retailer, just a guy online. I'm sure some company will step up to sell these though, hopefully a US one.

The issue with aftermarket lights is always the consistency and quality of the seals used, the wiring, and the actual LEDs themselves. Can't really measure those without actually having one in hand. On their website, the stuff all looks good, designs aren't too whacky, they're all lights i'd probably get if i had a R/Z/S chassis.

You will not be able to top what OneEightyNYC or other really good custom shop can do; but you will likely not have to pay their prices either. And Japanese shipping time vs. service time/shipping back and forth to New york . . . eh, coinflip

Morimoto made a post about 2 months back about these headlights, they're supposed to be available soon from authorized dealers, i haven't see these tails before, they look sweet.

Those tail lights are absolutely awful.

I agree. I like the headlights but the taillights look like something from 15-20 years ago.

However, completely sensitive to the fact that styling is subjective. To each their own.

I think the tails will depend on the rest of car. If you have aggressive aero, unique lights like this will make sense

A stockish car probably will not work as well

EDIT:

thinking out loud - wrapping some or all of the taillight in red vinyl probably makes it stick out less but retains the look of those parallel LED strips

Looks like the paint in combo with the kit/wheels was a bit of a Tokyo Drift 350z tribute, which had a Veilside kit. Song immediately popped in my head when I looked at it.

Their Z33 and GTR lights are about $600-700, I’d guess these fall in the same range

I do wanna play with some vinyl options on these...

I emailed RHD Japan about these; they appear to be the only retailer that sends 78Works stuff over here.

They said ETA is spring (June), no pricing stil.

They just had a FB update and said pricing will be available in a few weeks...moving slow but they do look nice.

I know how the cutoff/alignment is with halogen and HID/xenon lighting, but how is it setup for LED headlights? Either way, this should be something everyone who's on purchasing these from 78Works should think about unless they live in a country that drives on the left side... unless they just don't care about blinding oncoming vehicles or having poorly aimed headlights.
