the lower profile of number 3 flows with the kit alot more...and people still 'get it' as being a tribute to the stock design. Definitly #3

At higher speeds, won't those 2 large side vents ad drag to the car? are they intended for brake cooling?

With that being said...You would have to be going at speeds in excess of 120 and up to see any type of difference in your aero drag. The front lip will add downforce at speeds below that which will help in cornering and what not, similar to a canard. But any increase in drag from those scoops would be pretty small. |

We have our engineers focused on the supercharger, I should post some pictures of the manifold in the machine shop shouldn't I? The modeling shop guys are focused on the body kit and getting it wrapped up. You guys should see the rockers!!! GORGEOUS!!! I just ordered up some KW variant 3 coil overs, some R888's and some 19's for this car...I can't wait to see the body kit painted and the suspension and wheels and tires on there. This car is going to be MEAN!!! |

Kyle, not to bust out the expert but...scoops most certainly do add drag. Even NACA ducts (which have the absolute least drag of any scoop design) are parasitic. Whether or not the drag will affect any of these cars at speeds they will see is a different story. I doubt if it will be noticable at all. However, the speed at which the car becomes aerodynamicly restrained could be lowered as much as a few MPH. That being said. I have an idea that maybe Stillen would be interested in in the Aero dept. My guess is with some simple and cheap parts I could clean the aerodynamics of this car up very easily. If you'd like to hear it shoot me a PM.
Sorry, I'm stuck in Charlotte waiting to fly our IT guy back to Fay. I'm bored, and probably posting way too much.

I voted for option three. BUT, I think that this front "clip" looks too "350ish". The side openings take away from the 370's uniqueness. IMHO

Kyle, are the fangs separate peices like I think you mentioned before? If so, I really like the final design (fangless). From what I can tell in the pics you guys did a nice job on the design and certain aspects are a departure and new style from past stuff. I'm liking how the top of the side ducts looks like the built in canard on the NISMO bumper as well. If I didn't have a NISMO I'd be wanting one. Hope it sells well for you guys. When you paint it, paint that upper plate mount black! I think the vents will be nice for cooler function. Assuming one may be for and intercooler, power over minor high speed drag IMO.
