Fit the hood pins then cut off the area where ever the hood pins are to make fitting on the new hood faster

This hood is surprisingly resilient. This is after 20 or so swings with an axe. Makes me wonder how the hell they damaged it. THM confirmed they will refund me the cost.

I would wear a mask if you are going to take a saw to it. Breathing carbon fiber particles (dust) can be hazardous.
