Illuminated Kick Panels (G6950-1EA0A) Install w/No Harness
 

I bought a set of these off eBay and they didn't come with the T-Harnesses, has anyone installed these without the harness?

It seems it's just a negative and positive wire for each plate, but I am not sure which tires would need to be tapped into (I assume interior cabin light)

Any tips/advice from anyone who's custom wired this or if anyone has a T-Harness I can buy off them?

I'm going to wire it to the door trigger (ground) on either side and to a constant 12V lead from the fuse panel on the drivers side, I'll report back in case anyone else is interested. Seems even less hassle than using the factory harness.
