Carbon fiber bumper and fenders?

Hey guys, I currently own a 350z and I am about to trade it in for a 370z. I bought a body kit from this company call bayspeed something ( forgot the full name ) and I had ask one of the guys there if they have anything for a 370z and this is what the showed me.

I am planning to get a cf front end on the 370z. They also have the side skirts and rear bumper in cf. Take a look at them, tell me what you guys think of the products. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I think it's pretty slick but the weight savings are near none.

Haha yeah I guess. It is for the looks. Well they said they can specially make me a 100% full carbon fiber ( including the inside I believe? ) bumper or whatever. But I will be afraid that it will fly off when I hit the highway LOL.

lol happy to see they are getting their name out those pieces are the 1st one's done and are going on my car next week

here's some insider info, Darren at bayspeed and I teamed up so I could get him the 370z body panel molds. So I provided him with bumpers, fenders, skirts, and hood. I went all oem style I like the lines on the Z already but the modified ones do look nice. Darren can probably put together anything you want and I don't foresee theses flying off while on the highway.

Seeing as how I scrape my front chin spoiler even though the car is not lowered, I don't think it's a good idea for that piece to be carbon fiber. It'll crack the very first time it hits something.

I think I'd like the non CF of the fender design matched with my car's color. I think if a car does CF hood, front bumper and fenders altogether the car will look like it has a huge *** nose mask that exetends way pass the fender from far away. lol. But anyways.. Pics would be nice if anybody gets all 3 installed.

So you are staying they made the mold out of your BRAND new 370z? So that means these parts must be good fitment. Have you ever purchased parts from them? I had purchased a fiber glass body kit for my 350z but had never purchased any carbon fiber parts. The pictures Richie ( one of the sales, not Darren ) sent me above looks pretty good. I would like to see the carbon fiber in person though. Please let me know on some feedback about this company with carbon fiber products or if you could post some pictures with it on your car and how the fitment goes. THANKS in advance!

I was also worried about the chin spoiler, thankfully they did it properly, it is a separate piece I haven't yet decided to keep it on or replace it with the stock piece. The parts are a result of making molds off my OEM panels, if you look on some other threads my "contribution" is mentioned. I'll try to get install pics as soon as possible. To be honest I didn't plan on doing any body work when I first picked up the car, I actually promised the Mrs. I'd go easy with this one so I picked up a red Z. However after talking to Bayspeed I couldn't turn down the opportunity. End result will be full front end, skirts, rear bumper. Hope to have it installed and pics by the end of this month sometime around the 23rd. I like the way the modified fenders look but I'm going with the stock design, with a red car you'll probably see some of the red frame under the aluminum grating and I like have the Z blinker on the side. Btw one final point the aluminum grills do come off and they will probably get painted flat black down the line. I have big plans for my Z, TT setup is on deck once I can get this completed.

In my personal opinion, CF fenders and bumper covers are over rated. I'm sure you get good weight saving and it looks really cool, but you can't really fix carbon fiber is anything should happen, you can only replace it.

If you end up getting it, I'd recommend getting it covered by your insurance. But, that is just my opinion, I could be wrong.
