The problem is, the window opens every time you open the door

I too believe the problem is just the up and down action of the window when you open the door. Luckily my Z is a weekend car and I was able to let it sit untouched for a period of time. I would suggest this if at all possible.

I got it back. I don't know a lot about window tint, but there's some bubbling of sorts on the window that got redone. The guy said that's normal and not to touch it for a few days and that it'll dry and be bubble free. Can anyone confirm or deny that?

I did think about the how the window goes down a bit when you open it. Luckily its the passenger door and not the driver side door. I told my friend that we'd go cruise on saturday, but i may just have to cancel that lol. I don't want to take any chances on the tint coming off again.

It is normal to have a little water film there but there shouldn't be any air bubbles.

I wasn't even aware Versas could reach 60mph.

Anyways, make sure your tint person clamps the door button down while installing the tint. This way, the window rolling up when you close the door won't be an issue. In addition, a lot of tint places (the one that I chose included) slide the tint half an inch or so underneath the inner weather stripping so even if you were to roll your windows up and down, it wouldn't peel at all.

Well, I don't want to go there this week and just hear "oh, well you should give it a few more days".

I'm willing to wait it out this week that way there's no excuse. Tint shouldn't take more than 3-4 days even in the cold to cure. I'm going to request that I be able to take it to a place of my choice and they cover the retint and a loaner car. I know of a couple shops in Dallas that do a quality job with lifetime warranty. The dealership already screwed up twice and I have to waste my time, its the least they can do.

Why did you get the tints done through the dealer, and not directly at your own tint shop of choice?

PS: About the bubbles, confirmed, they go after a few days on their own - do not touch.
