The Titan's had this same exact problem when they first came out. Nissan ended up offering a fix for it. If I remember correctly it was something to do with the locking mechanism and the internal hinges or something. They ended up changing the design and offering a free replacement to any one who had an issue with it.

I would take it back to your dealership and I'm sure they will do something for you. It might not be an immediate resolution but I'm sure they will come up with a fix at some point.

You could always just get out of Canada...It's a warm, sunny 70 degrees here in California today!

You suck! LOL

High temps below freezing for the next week, I hate winter ... although I do like driving around in the snow before they plow.

The Z has been in my garage so no freezing issue, but the Camaro has the same style windows and has had no problem with freezing.

Is the window freezing or the actual lock?

The lock is freezing, window is fine, goes up/down no problem

This TSB states that the door can still be opend from the inside
Problem is, I cant even open the door from the inside when lock is frozen
It wont open until the car heats up and releases the lock, usually takes about an hour or so to heat up depending on outside temp.

This bulletin was amended on March 1, 2006. Step 5 in the Service Procedure has been modified and the Parts Information has been updated. No other content has been changed. Discard all previous versions of this bulletin. IF YOU CONFIRM The insidehandle will open the door but the outside handle - will not open the door - is difficult to operate (stuck) - does not move freely and/or - the door does not latch when closing - the door outside handle cable (part of lock assembly) is stuc k due to freezing, ACTION: Replace the door lock assemblies (includes cables) and outside door handle brackets. - Armada: Both front doors only - King Cab Titan: Both front doors only - Crew Cab Titan: All four doors, front and rear See thisbulletin for further detail.
