I removed wing
 

I removed wing from my 2013 touring 370z. I am replacing with an evo-r high wing. It looks likethe factory sprayed the car with original wing in place. There is a difference in paint under the place of the wing. Anyone else have that problem ?

I don’t think that is factory SOP. Maybe your vehicle had the trunk or spoiler replaced by a previous owner.

UV rays change color, unless is a different color...then what he said ^

If you’re car is white then all the whites are diff shades and have to be blended to match .

You can actually feel the diff in height between the clear coat and the spot under the old wing

Sounds like there was a repaint at some point. Assuming you are not the original owner. =)

Had to be a repaint. I've removed wing off of a sport and a nismo hatch and the paint matched perfectly on both.

I can tell you that the paint should match. I had an ‘07 Z, ‘09 Z, and now a ‘13 Z, all of which had the oem spoiler and have removed from the former 2 and the paint matched exactly.
