Fujimura front bumper coming
1 Attachment(s)
Hey guys. I have a Fujimura front bumper on order.
Show me what you did with yours (colours). Has anyone chromed any part of the grill? Did you badge it? Everyone seems to de-badge, but I want to badge it.... Has anyone got the AEM intake kit and lined the intakes up with the vents? Pic for attention. Alan |
Good choice, my favorite front. I have not seen anything chromed on the bumper, just shiny metal mesh that it comes with it. I prefer the two tone look of Body colored with black vent areas. Something akin to this:

Personally I badged mine because I was going for an OEM look, without the badge it looks a little empty to me. My Fujimura bumper was partial CF so two tone was the way to go for me (CF opening, CF side inlets)

I have a black Z so I'm concerned having the whole thing in black will look a bit....evil. I would like to see another black Z that has 2 toned this bumper. |

One thing though is blacking out the headlight's housing will make a day and night difference to the overall look of the Fujimura bumper. For some reason the Fujimura bumper with stock chrome headlights/debadged on a non black car just doesn't look pleasing to the eye hahaha |
nice looking bumper... is there anything to cover that huge opening from flying rocks or debris?
|
it comes with mesh installed on all the openings.

I never considered an aftermarket bumper but now, I have to say I love the way this Fujimura bumper looks on the 370Z!
|
It works because its not too crazy, and it seems to be pretty functional with large openings for air flow
the problem with the stock Z bumper is the nose ends abruptly, giving the front a stubby look the nismo versions and many aftermarket ones extend the nose. it just creates a cleaner flow. some are longer than others, your taste may vary i wish there were better sides and rear to go with the fuji |

I have a plan to install the AEM CAI with extra large filter pods so that it sits right in those vents. |
Pics of black Fuji/Raptor. Vents used for CAI.

Nice find!!! That must be the AEM kit right? Has to be. Lines up beautifully with the intake like it was made to be there. I might even chop the intake tube back a little so I can get a big red pod in there. |

It is. |
one thing to note is that with the fuji bumper your factory tow hook location is no longer accessible, unless you cut the bumper
|
slightly off topic -
Wasn't there some discussion that you don't want the vent directly in front of the intake, because that actually hurts its ability to draw air due to turbulance or whatever? It was during a discussion of cutting a vent into the bumper, but i can't recall |

Here is some shots of the fitment straight out of the box. I dont think aftermarket gets any better than this.

All exposed filters would do is lead to dirty filters. |
how much does this bumper cost?
|
~$850 for FRP and ~$1200 for CF mix.
I suggest not eating or drinking when you click on shipping quotes... |

Dirt getting on the filters however is definitely going to be a big issue, but at least I can get the filter out through the wheel well. I could even put a dust filter behind the grill, or even a rain sock over the filter like what they use on motorbikes. Those vents are just crying out to be used. Perhaps I'll run a pipe to the brake rotors instead. |

Ah, gotcha. Moving air isn't cooler, but it is better for pulling heat away. If any effort's to be made in utilizing them, brake ducts or oil coolers are the way to go for sure. That will gain more performance than a couple horsepower from intake air temps.
It's late, sorry for derailing. |

Here’s a direct shot of the filter locations with this front end. After installing this intake I’d like to point out that the meshing will need to be slightly convex formed to prevent rubbing on the filter caps. Edit: The filters that come with this kit are quite large, glockwork appears to have found an alternate choice (page 2) which leaves more room. I also sprung for the filter covers due to moisture and dust. Trimmed the splash guards directly under the fender shrouds as well, I wanted access to the filters so I could cover them with bags during a wash without having to remove the bumper. |

His look tiny compared to yours |

The video doesn't do the dimensions justice, even the pipes look smaller. |

For pricing, like Madwi said it will run around $850 for FRP and $1.2k for partial CF but it doesn't stop there - shipping will f*ck you hard in the a$$ if you live in the states because it'll costed almost as much as the bumper lmaoo.
On mine I'm about to pair it with brake ducts (after deleting my reservoir) and the Dewla air guide because there's just so many vents on this thing. My good friend and forum member Hojin Om was able to run this bumper with the Fast Intentions tow bar and intercooler. Even my zspeed aluminum undershroud fit perfectly. To people that are running their windshield reservoir, Fujimura Auto will include a removable black cover that perfectly surrounds the passenger side vent of the car. Reps don't come with this and will just leave you with a huge hole where you can see the fugly reservoir, also no mesh on all the vents and no middle vent rivets. |

I think the Fujimura front bumper is the nicest out there. Where is the best place to order from? I am considering on getting one.
